UQ eSpace: manage your research outputs and datasets

Everything you need to know about using UQ eSpace to keep your research output and research data profile up to date

Search and add missing works

On this page you can:​

  • Search for and claim existing works in UQ eSpace or works from external sources, e.g. CrossRef, PubMed, Web of Science or Scopus
  • Manually add new works

Enter a DOI, PubMed ID or the title of the work and click SEARCH 

 

 

The system will search a range of sources including UQ eSpace and list relevant matches. If your work is listed then click on the CLAIM THIS WORK button. 

 

If your work is not in the result list then click on the CREATE A NEW ESPACE RECORD button to manually enter your work details.

 

 

 

To link the publication to your profile in UQ eSpace:

 

  • Select your name from the list of authors,
  • You can also make a correction and/or upload a file at the same time.

Manually add a work

If your initial search did not find your publication, you can manually add a work.

Note:  Further category information, based on government reporting criteria, is available to help you select the relevant work type, via the Publication requirements & eligibility guide

Click on the CREATE A NEW ESPACE RECORD button and follow the prompts to:

  • Select your work type
  • Complete all of the required fields on the deposit form (marked with an asterisk )
  • Click on your name in the author list and the SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL button to link the work to your profile
  • You can add other detail as available and upload a file at the same time
