Publishing process
Once you have created a dataset using UQRDM, the process of publishing the dataset will happen automatically, and there are no further actions needed from you.
Monitor the progress
You can monitor the progress of publishing from the UQRDM project record. Log in to UQRDM and open the relevant project record. You can see the Datasets panel which shows:
- the UQ eSpace status - whether the data record (metadata) been approved and published in UQ eSpace
- File status - whether the data files have been successfully retrieved, packaged and made available for download (either as open access or mediated access)
Published
From the Datasets panel in the project record, you can click to View eSpace record. You can also click on Download dataset, when the file/s is/are available for download.
Once both statuses are marked as published and available, you have successfully published your dataset. This means that:
- Your metada record is now discoverable in UQ eSpace,
- You are able to provide a link to download the data and
- You have a DOI to cite your data.
