- Citations to my publications are on a significant upward trajectory and in 2022, I achieved my highest number of citations for a yearly period (540 citations). For 2023 alone my work has already received 14 citations (Scopus, MMM YYYY).
- Of my 21 publications only 2 have not received citations, these 2 uncited papers (9.5% not cited) were published in 2023 and have not yet had time to accrue citations (Scopus, MMM YYYY).
- My citation rate has more than tripled from 10 in 2015 to 37 in 2023 (Scopus, MMM YYYY).
Find career citation trajectory metrics
- Go to Scopus
- Click on Authors, enter the author details (you don't need an affiliation) and click Search
- Click your name to be presented with your profile including publications
- Click View list in search results format, then:
- Click All and click View citation overview to explore your trend in citations
- Change the year range to desired range (note – this view can only display 15 years at a time)
- Click Update
- Export to csv file to get the number of publications you published in each of these years as well as citations per year.
