Publish a dataset with UQRDM and UQ eSpace

Helpful guide on how to use UQRDM to deposit, share and preserve datasets in UQ eSpace

Publish a dataset on UQRDM to UQ eSpace

Publish your dataset to UQ eSpace from UQRDM

UQRDM is the single point for UQ researchers to manage their research datasets across the entire data lifecycle. From creating a project, collecting, storing and analysing data, collaborating, and ultimately publishing and sharing their data to UQ eSpace.

**This service is currently in Beta testing and may take longer than expected. If you would like to publish your data using UQRDM please contact data@library.uq.edu.au.**

Your data and data storage are secure during Beta testing. Depending upon the size of your dataset and the type of data, the time needed for packaging the dataset could vary.

Make your data open

Open data or sharing data is an option for UQ researchers to raise the visibility of their work, get credit for their research outputs and meet the requirements of funders and journal publishers.

Best practice in research data management requires that open datasets are stored in publicly accessible repositories. UQRDM and UQ eSpace have now been integrated to meet this requirement.

You can publish your research datasets stored in UQRDM with:

  • relevant metadata,
  • license and access terms
  • and a DOI for citing and getting credit for your work.

Datasets can be Open Access or Mediated Access (with controls on how the data is released)

Follow this guide to share your datasets underpinning publications.
