Referencing is acknowledging other's work or idea that you have used in your assignment. The School of Veterinary Science is currently in a transition phase from using using the Australian Veterinary Journal style to the Vancouver referencing style. Always consult your course profile, assessment task sheets or lecturer for the preferred citation style for each course.

There is an output style in EndNote for the Australian Veterinary Journal referencing style and the Vancouver Referencing Style. See the output styles page for instructions on downloading the file and where to place them.
*If you are using the Australian Veterinary Journal style in EndNote - you will need to abbreviate the journal titles using the Biosciences term lists file.
