Published trials

You can search for published trials using the major health databases. Use the database limits such as Publication Type to help find trials. Alternatively add the word 'trial' to your search, e.g. children asthma trial

Cochrane Library
After you've run a search, the 'trials' tab shows controlled trials from the CENTRAL (Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials) database
MEDLINE

An example for MEDLINE on the EBSCOHost platform:

Select Advanced Search
Search for randomized controlled trial or clinical trial (Select the field - PT Publication type)
Combine with your search topic

PLOS Clinical Trials
PLOS Clinical Trials is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Public Library of Science (PLoS).

From the PubMed landing page choose Clinical Queries
In the Clinical Study Categories select Therapy and Narrow
Search for your topic
