The University of Queensland Papers Department of Geology was a UQ publication. In the later issues there is a brief description:
“The University of Queensland Papers Department of Geology is primarily a medium for publication of original research work conducted by staff members and postgraduate students of the Department of Geology and Mineralogy, University of Queensland. Contributions from others, particularly on aspects of Queensland geology, may also be accepted.”
