Referencing styles

Referencing is acknowledging other's work or ideas that you have used in your assignment. There are many different referencing styles. Check your subject outline or ask your lecturer which one you need to use.

The style usually recommended by the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences is UQ Harvard

The Library has created guides, with examples of different formats and reference lists for the different referencing styles used at UQ.
