AI Literacy Framework

A framework to enhance the knowledge, literacy and capabilities of UQ students and staff on artificial intelligence (AI).

Introduction

The AI Literacy Framework aims to enhance students’ and staff’s understanding of essential knowledge and capabilities required for academic success at UQ and beyond. It emphasises the importance of effective, ethical and responsible use of AI tools. This framework serves multiple purposes: 

  • assessing current AI-related training offerings
  • identifying knowledge or capability gaps or areas for development
  • supporting curriculum planning and design 
  • illustrating capabilities.
