UQ Library guide to find information on occupational health and safety science

Journal articles and databases

Searching in library databases is the best way to find scholarly information for assignments and research projects.

Databases provide access to thousands of scholarly and peer reviewed journals which can be searched to find the latest research on specific topics or just for a general overview of the subject.

See: Searching in Databases.

Searching directly in discipline-specific journals, such as those listed below, is another way to find articles.

Document delivery

Document delivery can be used if your item is not available through the Library. It is free for current UQ students and staff.

Use document delivery to request:

  • resources we do not hold in our Library collection
  • scanned copies of journal articles and book chapters from our Library print collection.
