Referencing style

A referencing style is a set of rules telling you how to acknowledge the thoughts, ideas and works of others in a particular way.

Referencing is a crucial part of successful academic writing and is key to your assignments and research.

Styles commonly used by the School of Pharmacy are Vancouver or APA

Important information  However, always check with your lecturer, tutor or course co-ordinator about the referencing style they want you to use.

Copyright and avoiding plagarism

Plagiarism is very serious and it is important to understand what it is and how to avoid it.
