Locate your metrics

Learn how to find publication metrics and evidence to use when applying for NHMRC Investigator Grant funding.

Metrics requirements for the Investigator grant

There are two main sections where metrics may be used:

  • Top 10 publications in last 10 years - identify and use relevant metrics as supporting evidence. See Top 10 publications in last 10 years for tips on finding core metrics to include in your justification.
  • Research impact – highlight metrics and evidence that are relevant to your program of research. This program of research may include all of your publications, or a specific subset. Metrics and evidence will need to be sourced to match the publications/contribution directly related to the program. It may also be useful to contextualise the contribution to the impact study in terms of your whole career.  See knowledge impact evidence, health impact evidence, social impact evidence and economic impact evidence pages for suggestions.
