UQ Research Data Manager

Provides information about how to use the UQ Research Data Manager (UQRDM) to store and manage research data for research projects.

Does UQRDM use persistent identifiers (e.g. ORCIDĀ®)?

The UQRDM system currently uses two internationally recognised, standard persistent identifiers:

Your ORCID ID will only display in your RDM project records if you have linked your ORCID through UQ eSpace. For more information on how to get an ORCID ID, please see the registering and linking your ORCID to eSpace page.

If you publish your datasets from UQRDM into UQ eSpace, the datasets will be assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) as the persistent identifier.

RAiDs are automatically assigned to a project record and UQRDM project identifier.

Are there plans to integrate UQRDM with other UQ systems?

UQRDM has been constantly improving and will be integrated with other UQ systems to make research process as seamless as possible.

From the UQRDM project record, you can link to:

  • Grants
  • Human and animal ethics
  • Digital Research Notebooks
  • Impact Tracker
  • UQ eSpace

If you would like to suggest other integrations, contact Research Systems Support.
