Research impact evidence

Guide to finding research impact evidence that may be used in research impact statements

Why are others citing my work?

Search for yourself in Web of Science by your name, Web of Science ResearcherID or ORCID unique identifier.  Refine results as needed to obtain your specific publications.

Click on individual publications to see their citation classifications. The citation network panel on the right provides a breakdown of the document's citing articles. Note that this information is only available for articles and is limited to recent publications.

See what the different citation classifications mean (click on "citing items classification" in the drop-down menu).

What are they saying?

Has anything been mentioned about using knowledge or data from your cited publication?

Is there evidence that your research is being translated/used by others in their research?

This may be knowledge impact.
