Elements of the reference

Patent inventor last name, initials. (Year patent issued). Patent Identifier No. xxx - italicised. Location: Name of official source of patent information - usually patent office.

In-text reference

Add inventor name to Author.

Add (Standard No standard number information) to the "Edition" field

For in-text reference:

Insert citation. Use "Edit & Manage Citations" to "Exclude Author". In "Prefix" field, add organisation acronym comma space. Do this step for each instance of reference except first.
