Using Library Search you can find:

• video streams
• audio streams
• DVDs
• Audio CDs
• other multimedia formats

How to find video and audio

1. Go to the Library home page
2. In the Library Search box, change the drop down menu to Video & audio
3. Perform a keyword search on your topic of interest, or enter a feature film title, director or actor, for example: Baz Luhrmann
4. Browse through the results and click the title link to access a resource
5. Click Copy link under the Send to options
6. Click Copy link to clipboard.

To limit to Streamed content only

1. Perform the search above
2. Select Available online under Show only from the Filter options
3. Click Apply Filters.

To further refine the results to just video content or just audio content:

1. Under Active filters, click the Remove content type cross X to remove a content type
2. For example, click the cross next to Audio to remove it
3. The ;results will show Video content only.

Find video only

1. Go to the Library home page
2. Perform a keyword search on your topic, or enter a title or artist etc
3. On the results page go to the Refine my results options
4. Select Videos under Content type
5. Click Apply filters. The results will now show video content only
6. Click the title link to access a resource.

Find audio only

1. Go to the Library home page
2. Perform a keyword search on your topic, or enter a title or artist etc
3. On the results page go to the Refine my results options
4. Select Audio under Content type
5. Click Apply filters. The results will now show audio content only
6. Click the title link to access a resource.

Video streams:

• are available 24/7 through Library Search
• are viewable by UQ staff and students with a broadband Internet connection and compatible viewing computer or mobile device (both iOS and Android playback supported)

You can also search any database directly:

1. Go to our Databases
2. Search for a database by title or subject
3. Locate your content in the database
4. Locate an embed link or URL option for your item, if available.
5. Copy the link or embed code.

You can find video streams from a variety of publishers via Library Search.

If you want to limit the results to a particular platform or publisher:

1. Go to Advanced Search
2. Change the Content type to Videos
3. Enter a keyword on the first line
4. On the next line enter the platform title e.g. Alexander Street Press, Kanopy, EduTV
