Researcher identifiers and profiles: UQ eSpace profile

Information on establishing and using researcher identifier and profile systems.

 UQ eSpace collects the research outputs of UQ's staff and students including Higher Degree by Research (HDR) digital theses.
 It is UQ's repository for open access publications, 
research datasets and other 
digitised materials created by staff  of the University including print materials,  photographs, audio materials, videos, manuscripts and other original works.  

How do I get a UQ eSpace profile?

All UQ staff have a UQ eSpace profile.

To view your profile enter your UQ username (eg. uqjdavis) after the UQ eSpace URL

Your profile should list all your professional publications - whilst at UQ and prior to your time at UQ. 

UQ eSpace boosts your publications profile

Putting your publications in UQ eSpace will:

  • raise the visibility and accessibility of your research
    Google and Google Scholar harvest UQ eSpace publications
  • provide data for mandatory Government reporting requirements such as the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA).

Your UQ eSpace profile will synchronise with your profile in:

Link your author profiles to UQ eSpace

  1. Log in to UQ Researcher Identifiers
  2. Click Link this identifier for ORCiD, ResearcherID, Scopus Author ID and Publons

This will display on your UQ eSpace profile a linking badge to each author identifer that has been linked to UQ eSpace.
