Video resources

UQ Library has a wealth of  resources available online and in physical formats.

Our collection contains a number of video and audio streams which include:

  • feature films
  • instructional videos
  • documentaries
  • TV shows
  • music and theatre
  • audio and radio

We provide access to video and audio streams from several sources including:

  •  content from free to air television and Foxtel, plus UQ productions 
  •  subscriptions through the Library to:
    • Informit EduTV - documentaries, drama and series, classified by learning area.
    • TVNews - indexes TV news stories, current affairs and documentary series broadcast on Australian television.
    • Alexander Street Press - streaming video collection in a range of disciplines.
    • Kanopy - video collections arranged by subject.
    • Naxos Music Library

Video streams:

  • are available 24/7 through UQ Library Search
  • are viewable by UQ staff and students with a broadband Internet connection and compatible viewing computer or mobile device (both iOS and Android playback supported)
